Hi Everyone!
Welcome to the Back to School season! (and Happy Labor Day to all my friends in the US!)
As a notary, this time of year is particularly busy for me. Over the past few weeks, I have been assisting K-12 students in person throughout my area with back-to-school matters. I have also been able to help quite a few virtually with online notarizations!
The common forms I have been dealing with during this period include:
1. Babysitter hardship (for those needing a school in a different zone due to childcare reasons).
2. Alternate Address hardship (for those temporarily residing with someone requiring a different school zone).
3. Vaccine exemption form (for those opting out of vaccinations).
4. Home School Notice of Intent/Religious Exemption forms (for homeschooling families fulfilling reporting requirements).
I am now in college mode! I have been able to help several families recently as they send a young person off to school with the following forms:
Advance Medical Directive
Power of Attorney
Will
I am excited to see how this is growing in popularity. More and more families are realizing that when their young person turns 18, they may need these forms. I can't provide the forms--but once you have them, please reach out to me to get them notarized!
Sincerely,
Rose
