Do you travel to jails/hospitals/rehab facilities?

Questions about Virtual Notarization
Do I need a computer?
No! You can do this from a smartphone! You do need the zoom app and access to your email from your phone.

Why do I have to upload my ID?
You are required to upload your ID for verification, just like we would do for an in person notarization.
What is KBA?
KBA is short for "Knowledge Based Assessment". It is a quick 5 question quiz pulled from public information from court records, DMV records, etc. These are questions that only you should know the answer to. Questions like--What house number is associated with this address (street name), or What color was the Toyota Camry you owned in 2002? Things like this.
Is Virtual Notarization legal?
Virtual Notarization has been legal in Virginia since 2012. Even if it is not legal in the state you are in, I am able to do it because the laws follow the notary, not the signer. PLEASE always check that the receiving party accepts digital signatures. It is LEGAL, but not always accepted.

One of the signer's is not in the USA? now what? or is not a US Citizen?
The wonderful thing about virtual notarization is that the signers do not have to be located together. Even if one or more of the signer's are not US Citizens, as a Virginia notary, I can work around it. I have the solutions to help!

I don't have the document as a PDF, can you help me?
It's OK if you don't have a PDF. You can send me an email with a really good photo and I can convert it to a PDF before our session begins.

I'm not comfortable sharing my SSN. Are there other options?
Yes! Your SSN is not needed. I will, though, need your DOB and your current address so the correct KBA questions are generated.
